Steve Whitfield was a veteran of the computer electronics and aerospace industries. In more than 30 years he had been several types of engineer and designer, ranging from aircraft and weapons systems simulations to computer software and video design. He lived in southern Ontario and worked as a technical and science editor. Steve passed away in 2014.
